Tattersall’s Lotteries has announced the launch of TattsQuick throughout 165 7-Eleven franchise stores across Victoria. The two companies have agreed to terms of a Franchise Agreement, meaning TattsQuick Pick tickets will be available to buy in all Victorian 7-Eleven stores by February 2009.

Tattersall’s Lotteries will be the first Australian lottery operator to rollout this style of offer across a statewide convenience retail chain. Bill Thorburn, Tattersall’s Lotteries chief executive, said the collaboration, “is aimed at creating awareness of our lottery games to a new demographic outside the traditional customer base and trading hours.”

Warren Wilmot, CEO of 7-Eleven also commented, “TattsQuick Picks at 7-Eleven will allow new lotto customers to buy tickets at a time and location that is most suitable to them. This offer is based on the popular Tattersall’s Quick Pick entry option and fits nicely with the overall 7-Eleven customer expectation of great products and fast service.”

At present there are no plans to expand this partnership to other Australian lottery jurisdictions.
