The flagship store in a new chain for specialty chicken retailer Lenard’s has opened its doors in Brisbane.

Lenard’s Extra at The Gap Village Shopping Centre offers the full range of traditional Lenard’s products as well as fresh and value-added products in a variety of meats including chicken, beef, lamb and pork.

The Lenard’s Kitchen sub-brand represents Lenard’s Extra’s pre-cooked range of value-added meals including gourmet favourites such as; family pies, marinated lamb shanks, Thai beef green curry, lamb Irish stew and veal scaloppini. The Lenard’s Kitchen range will be displayed in stores at self-serve counters, and is expected to be a popular addition.

The second Lenard’s Extra store will be a conversion of an existing Lenard’s store at Victoria Point in Brisbane this month. Further store openings are currently in progress, with plans to open nine stores before the end of next year.
