Aussie Farmers Direct expands organic range

In the lead up to National Organic Week, food delivery franchise Aussie Farmers Direct has expanded its fresh organic range. 

According to the company, the move has seen Aussie Farmers Direct take the title of the country’s largest online home delivery supplier of fresh organic food.

New organic product offerings include:

  • Eco organic free range eggs
  • Country range free range organic eggs
  • Organic Dairy Farmers pecorino cheese
  • Organic Dairy Farmers cheddar cheese
  • Organic Dairy Farmers vintage cheddar cheese
  • Organic Dairy Farmers gouda cheese
  • 5AM Organic yoghurt squeeze’s in blueberry and vanilla
  • Organic Dairy Farmers biodynamic full cream milk
  • Organic Dairy Farmers biodynamic low fat milk

The new products are expected to add to the company’s existing sales of more than ten tonne of organic fruit and vegetables each week.

The decision to expand the brand’s organic range was prompted following a recent joint venture with Organic Dairy Farmers Australia to manufacture organic butter out of the Aussie Farmers Direct milk processing site in Camperdown, Victoria.

Aussie Farmers Direct CEO, Jordan Muir said “Organic food for our business is a major focus moving forward. We are committed to expanding our range and offering the best quality food available.”

The franchise currently delivers food to more than 130,000 homes across the major communities of Australia.

National Organic Week is scheduled to take place between 4 and 13 October.
