Eagle Boys Pizza has bolstered its online capabilities with the introduction of a new Core Online Ordering system, which along with the franchise’s Windows Phone 7 pizza app, forms part of a $3 million technological initiative.
The new online ordering system is backed by a newly-constructed website with automated integrated point of sales (iPOS) capabilities, a new payment gateway and customer database potential.
Eagle Boys CEO, Todd Clayton said the high penetration of home internet and the growth of the smartphone market meant revamping its online ordering capabilities was a necessity.
“Overhauling our online technology capabilities has been a priority to satisfy customers’ growing appetite for convenience,” he said.
The system’s supporting website was designed from scratch to include automated iPOS and online address verification, along with links to corporate news and events, store news and integrated calendars.
“The Core Online Ordering system will also include a new payment gateway that now accepts Amex and Diners Club cards in addition to Mastercard and Visa for added convenience”.
Eagle Boys Pizza operates more than 335 franchised stores throughout Queensland, NSW, Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia, the ACT and the Northern Territory.
