Hose and fitting service franchise Enzed unveils its brand new look website today after a five month revamp process that introduced some market innovations to allow customers to easily search and find information.

Kevin Spiteri, marketing manager of parent company Parker Hannifin (Australia), said “We’ve rebuilt the website using both internal and external research to understand exactly what the market wanted from a website.

“The primary benefit of the new website for the general public is the focus we have placed on the search functionality. We have put a significant investment into developing an incredibly robust search engine. Customers are now able to easily search for local Enzed Service Centres and specific products from the front page of the Enzed website in both Australia and New Zealand.”

Each country has its own national site, and the user friendly search engine means customers can search for a service centre by suburb or post code, or find product information by searching a description or part number.

The new website also features an interactive e-catalogue system, allowing users to view, search and print Enzed catalogues online.

“The new e-catalogue system is one of the best technologies that we have built into the website,” said Spiteri. “It is an Adobe Flash based interactive e-catalogue system that acts like a real catalogue. We’ve already got 11 catalogues preloaded onto the site, with more to come soon.

“We have designed the website to focus on tailoring and targeting information to different industries. For example, if a user is involved in earthmoving, they will find products and information relevant to that key market,” explained Spiteri.

There are nine key markets: agriculture, automotive, construction, earthmoving, forestry, manufacturing, marine, mining and transport.

In addition to franchise information, job opportunities and social media links, the new website also features a mobile friendly version, accessible from all mobile devices.
