A number of franchised brands across food and retail have been recognised in Roy Morgan Research’s ongoing Customer Satisfaction awards.

Crust Gourmet Pizza produced the most satisfied customers of all quick service restaurant brands across the months of April and May.

The pizza chain received a 91 percent customer satisfaction rating in May; meanwhile Pizza Capers took out second position, followed by Subway, Fasta Pasta and La Porchetta.

Crust’s managing director, Michael Rose believes the timing of the awards is no coincidence considering the brand introduced a new menu in April.

“At Crust, we have always focussed on satisfying our customers by bringing them premium ingredients, sensational flavour combinations and delicious gourmet sides to create the ultimate dining experience,” he said.

“This experience is accentuated by the high standard of customer service from Crust’s passionate Franchisees and in store team members.”

In the coffee shop category, Michel’s Patisserie took out the top spot in both April and May. It received an 87 percent satisfaction rating in May, down from 88 percent in April.

Both months saw second spot awarded to Donut King, meanwhile Muffin Break was ranked third, Gloria Jean’s fourth and Hudsons rounded out the top five.

Autobarn received an 89 percent customer satisfaction rating in April and May, the highest of all auto stores, meanwhile in the hardware sector an impressive 94 percent rating was awarded to True Value Hardware in May, up from 92 percent in April

Customer satisfaction ratings are collected from Roy Morgan’s Single Source survey of approximately 50,000 Australians each year.
