Box hiring franchise, Hire a Box, recently announced the addition of seven new franchisees in just five months. Barry Harris decided he was ready to start franchising in November 2007 after running a successful pilot operation of this unique concept for eight years and he puts its continued growth down to a range of contributing factors.

All orders and bookings are received by a central hub, meaning less paperwork and phone calls for each individual franchisee. They are also able to work from home and deliver orders in the branded Hire a Box van, so there is no need for costly and high maintaince shop fronts.

After paying the initial fee of $65,000, there are no extra costs requested by the franchisor, yet they continue to play a large role in the business. For example, the franchisor handles all the marketing and advertising, and even delivers the boxes to each franchisee at no extra cost when their stock is low. Life is made even easier with flexible working hours which franchisees can make to suit their family and lifestyle.

With each franchisee designated to a particular territory, and supported by the franchisor’s buffer zones with work from these areas shared amongst the franchisees, it is possible to make 10 deliveries per day, generating an estimated income of $2,500 based on a five day working week. Hire A Box offers franchisees a guaranteed income for the first 13 weeks of $1,100 while the franchisees area is being marketed.
