Mortgage Choice recruitment drive to help franchisees

Mortgage Choice is eyeing up a strong 2014 for its brokerage business and has launched a recruitment drive to increase total broker numbers by 20 percent.

Settlements spiked 17.2 percent in the five months to November 2013 in comparison to the year before and CEO Michael Russell expects the company to be able to build on this with a strong property market, low interest rates and competitive lenders.

The expansion plans focus on recruiting 100 loans consultants this year.

To achieve this target, Mortgage Choice has launched a program called Plus One to help franchisees put more hands on deck.

The Plus One initiative offers franchisees a monetary incentive to bring a new loans consultant into their business; this will be backed up by HR resources already available to the franchise network.
