Convenience retail franchise chain NightOwl has appointed a chief executive officer with experience in the field as both franchisor and franchisee.
Andrew Morgan spent a decade with the McDonaldÍs Family Restaurant chain in Hamilton, New Zealand and six years with New ZealandÍs leading retail appliance chain Noel Leeming, where he pioneered a new franchise initiative and owned and operated two branches.
Before joining NightOwl, Morgan operated two of Fastway CouriersÍ largest business units in New Zealand and Australia, where he developed their franchise system and created new sales and service initiatives with the national and master franchisor Fastway Global, which operates in 10 countries and is the world’s largest courier franchise.
ñIÍm thrilled to join NightOwl, which has an established and highly regarded reputation in the franchise space and is continuing to expand successfully into new territories,î Morgan said. ñMy intention is to build a group of passionate people who will take the NightOwl franchise to new levels of standards and store performance and reward franchisees for their investment.î
Adam Adams, NightOwl owner and franchisor, said ñWe are delighted to welcome Andrew to the NightOwl team. His areas of expertise and understanding of what it takes to operate a successful franchise will help ensure NightOwl maximises its core assets and partnerships.î
Australian owned and operated, NightOwl and its franchisees operate 61 stores across Australia, employing more than 550 casual and full-time staff. The first NightOwl Convenience store was opened in 1975 and the business was then franchised in 1986.
