Fast growing franchise Aussie Farmers Direct has launched its own brand milk, distributed from its new dairy in Camperdown, South West Victoria. The milk is sourced directly from Australian farmers and will be supplied to Victoria and South Australia initially, with New South Wales, the ACT and Queensland to follow.

Braeden Lord, CEO of Aussie Farmers Direct, said “Not all milk is the same. We want our milkmen to deliver 100 percent Aussie milk straight from Aussie cows, reared on Aussie soil and then bottled and delivered direct from Aussie farmers to our customer’s doorsteps.”

On offer are full fat, reduced fat and no fat milk, delivered overnight and left on customers’ doorsteps in cooler bags before 7am.

Aussie Farmers Direct invested more than $5 million to turn a disused dairy with a 100 year history into its state-of-the-art processing plant. Thirty jobs have been created in the area with 100 jobs expected within five years.

Peter Skene, CEO of Aussie Farmers Dairy, said “We believe our entry into what is a consolidating farm-level milk purchasing market will not only benefit Aussie dairy farmers by providing a greater choice of buyers, it will support local jobs and give consumers the choice of a 100 percent Australian owned and produced fresh milk.”
