Passion is key at Hudsons

In 1998, Hudsons Coffee had one Melbourne store and a mission to efficiently serve quality coffee to time-poor professionals. Today there are 65 stores across Australia in locations ranging from central business districts and regional areas to airports and hospitals.

Franchise selection manager Gill Gialamatzis says the ideal franchisee doesnÍt necessarily need a background in hospitality or retail.

We take the time to understand a potential franchisee’s motivation for investing in a Hudsons Coffee franchise and to discuss our company’s vision. The right people get all of the tools they need to run a successful franchise business.

One thing that is essential is a passion for coffee. We empower our franchisees with the skills to be qualified baristas, says Gialamatzis. To us our coffee really is an art form.

Investment required: from $180,000 to $480,000 depending on whether the store is a kiosk or offers full seating.
