Franchised mortgage broking group Smartline has appointed local property industry identity David Devenish as its new state manager in Western Australia.

Devenish brings to Smartline broad based technical lending and property industry experience as well as expertise running highly successful property and real estate advisory businesses.

As state manager, Devenish’s mandate is to grow the company’s market presence, maintain and boost franchisee support and development, and further enhance the mortgage franchise’s reputation for client care and industry best practice.

As well as safeguarding and further developing the support structures and business development for the state’s existing 31 franchisees, IÍm keen to meet and recruit like-minded finance professionals looking to own their own business, Devenish said.
