Domino’s Pizza is serving up new job opportunities across the country, with more than 2,500 positions created on the back of robust sales achieved in the first four months of this financial year.
The new jobs will come as Domino’s plans to open up to 35 to 40 new stores in the first half of this year as well as employing more team members across its 474 existing stores.
Domino’s CEO Don Meij said the company had kicked off the year with solid same store sales growth and stores are requiring more drivers and pizza makers to keep up with demand.
We have experienced 10.3 percent same store sales growth for the first four months of this year. As a result our existing stores are on the hunt for more team members to keep up with demand and prepare themselves for the upcoming holiday season, a very busy time of year for us.
In addition, we also expect to open up to up to 25 to 30 new stores across Australia over the coming months and these will create new jobs in the local areas, he said.
