A gift specialist business, Wine Florist, is looking to franchising for expansion into Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

The retail concept offers individual and corporate customers the chance to purchase gift combinations of fresh flowers, alcoholic beverages, and hampers under one roof.

Founder Deborah Souris said “We see ourselves as experts in creating attractive and alluring complete gifts of flowers, alcohol, foods and hamper/mixers.”

One of the companyÍs aims is to encourage off-the-shelf gifts of flowers and flagship hampers, named the complete cocktail sets, packaged with their selected colours, papers and ribbons.

“The business and concept first came about when I was working on another business the creation of wine packages and personalised labels,” explained Souris.

“Whilst pursuing this venture I came to realise that the gift industry could prosper with the combination of alcoholic beverages and floristry and decided to mix up this very likely cocktail to produce Wine Florist.”

The business grew to four shops within three years and is now poised for the push interstate with franchise opportunities.
