The chairman, and long standing board member, of Zarraffa’s Coffee, Tony Williams, has resigned. Zarraffa’s Coffee CEO Kenton Campbell said Williams had been a mentor for many years.
“I personally appreciate Tony’s time with the company and his counsel during a major expansion period for the Group. His wealth of knowledge and experience has been invaluable”, said Campbell.
“We wish him well with his new venture and thank him for his years of service on our board and as its chairman.”
Williams, who was contacted for this story but declined to comment, founded and is the managing director of Queensland pizza business, Pizzacake.
According to Campbell, there will be no rush to replace Williams.
“We won’t be in a hurry to replace Mr Williams, taking the time to select the right candidate with the right qualities to complement our existing board mix,” he said.
